Professor Paul Musonge graduated with a PhD/DIC in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, London in 1983. He has taught and carried out research at seven (7) different higher education institutions in five (5) different countries. He has supervised over 100 students at the postgraduate level, in settings with both full and partial dissertations and over 300 students at the undergraduate level, with most projects having direct relevance to the local industry.
Current focus areas are in the modelling of water treatment systems and the production of biofuels using locally available bio-materials. Modelling involves the application of IoT, Big Data and Machine Learning.
His teaching and research philosophy is geared at students understanding of the fundamentals of the discipline.
